Another woman with a sword

When I first started sketching this one, I had Yuko Shimizu's illustration of a woman with a sword in mind, although I hadn't looked at it in a while. Anyway, I feel like I'm still working on it...I might do some photoshopping on it if I get the time...
The colors are not 100% accurate as usual.

I like this alot..the movement, the pose, her expression. I like the shading and use of color (the boots are great) but I'm wondering how it might look if the holding lines were darker. It's interesting with the glow effect it achieves...it's almost like a negative effect...or some kind of Photoshop filter. Stil, a darker outline might be interesting to see. What are the poles that she's jumping over..? Or is that supposed to be representative of buildings and it's like she's way high up in the air?

It's funny you should say that, cause I already did a different version with darker lines- I just didn't post it yet. Those are buildings under her, and yes, she is way high up in the air. Do you really think they look like poles???

well, since they're all fairly uniform, I thought it might be something like the scenes in some Jet Li movies, where they're jumping from one pole to the other...so I thought it might be your variation on that theme. If they were buidlings, I'd like to see a few more distinct shapes. Let's see the darker lined ver. when you can.

Yeah, I'll post it soon, don't worry....

Btw, poles are not rectangular... I'm just saying...
